- 改革开放40年来，中国共产党抗战大后方新闻舆论工作的研究取得了长足的进步。但从学术史的回顾来看，也存在体量上研究根据地工作的多，研究大后方工作的少；对象上研究《新华日报》的多，研究其它方面的少；角度上从新闻宣传工作展开的多，从新闻舆论工作展开的少等问题。目前，条件上已经满足系统开展中国共产党抗战大后方新闻舆论工作研究的需要。
